November 2016 – ATSG Corporation Helps Promote Learning Resources for Dyslexic Children with Donation to Sliding Doors

Fairfax, Virginia – ATSG is giving back to the community with a donation of $2000 to Sliding Doors Stem & Dyslexia Learning Center. Sliding Doors is a one of a kind after school program in Northern Virginia that provides dynamic learning resources for dyslexic children. Patrick McCollum, President and CEO of ATSG: “On behalf of the entire ATSG family, please accept our small contribution to help fund your Center’s important work.”

Executive Director Krista Gauthier stated “On behalf of myself, the Board of Directors and especially the future students of Sliding Doors, I would like to express the utmost gratitude for your support and donation! I was wonderfully surprised by the amount; it is beyond generous. We are so grateful for not only the donation itself but also what it represents, that is, the belief you have in our mission. For a fledging organization like ours, that means more than we can express!”

On Saturday, January 28, 2017 Sliding Doors STEM & Dyslexia Learning Center will be kicking off their program year with a STEM festival and fundraiser that includes building challenges, STEM demonstrations and more. STEM-A-Palooza will be a public event where students will get to watch science demonstrations, hear speakers and conduct experiments.
