System Development

Transforming Operational Needs into System Requirements

ATSG system designers are experts at defining the architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements. Core activities in system design and development include developing system-level technical requirements and top-level system designs for Federal IT Systems.

System-Level Technical Requirements

ATSG is skilled at the development and application of scientific and analytical disciplines to conduct fundamental research; scientific study and experimentation directed toward the assessment of system and subsystem requirements, as well as analysis and evaluation of concepts, technologies, and development of operational concepts.
Top-Level System Design

We exercise a multitude of engineering disciplines to technically design and/or reengineer new and existing technology systems, develop significant alterations to existing systems, support integration and interface of existing equipment or software into different applications or platforms.
Meeting System Requirements
ATSG has extensive experience reviewing system architecture and design to determine if implementation aligns with enterprise strategy and related system architecture. Our familiarity with data integrity and data mapping principles allows us to apply engineering and analytical disciplines to ensure that system and platform requirements are integrated with the system design, development and life cycle sustainment. ATSG leverages its expertise to identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems, to control changes and non-conformance, and to track actual configurations of systems and platforms.
