We have provided over 140 Advisors, Specialists, Trainers, and Subject Matter Experts across the globe to consult in the areas of justice, culture, police reform, anti-corruption, major crimes task force, justice framework, corrections, international asset foreclosure, national asset management and financial crimes.

Police Professionalization

ATSG conducts Field Assessments/ Evaluations and makes recommendations for Host Nation Police Department policy, procedural, and system changes in line with agreed standards of professionalism. We work closely with pertinent stakeholders to improve police capacity, professionalism, information sharing capabilities, and participation in regional security initiatives.

Combating Transnational Crime and Corruption

ATSG assists host nation countries in improving federal, state, and local governments’ operational ability to prevent and mitigate crime and terrorism, impact transnational criminal organization (TCO) cash flow, contribute to criminal cases against TCO leaders and members, disrupt TCO trust and corruptive relationships, and safely apprehend TCO and other high target offenders.

Counter Narcotics

ATSG builds host country capacity to disrupt and dismantle organized criminal networks, including capacity building to counter illicit finance and combat the production of, and trafficking in, illegal narcotics.

Criminal Justice Reform

ATSG’s work with partner nations is designed to help reduce crime, promote public safety, and ensure that citizens of those countries have access to a functioning and fair justice system. This requires engaging across the entire spectrum of criminal justice, including with law enforcement, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and correctional institutions, to build a fair, transparent, and accountable criminal justice system. Our Advisors provide technical advice to strengthen case management system(s) so that police units may conduct their investigative duties based on scientific forensic evidence.

Corrections

ATSG conducts assessments and makes recommendations on how the US and other international assistance can best be designed and implemented to help the countries corrections services to develop great institutional capacity necessary to fulfill responsibilities to provide transparent and equitable justice services. Our personnel support, assist, and advise in planning and implementing USG efforts to enhance and expand the capabilities of Corrections and Rehabilitation Departments in order to provide correctional services in a manner consistent with legal requirements and international standards.

Citizen Security

ATSG participates in the planning and implementation of programs that promote citizen security through public involvement, public participation, educational programs, activities, and events that support the police and other Host Nation Government entities. Our Advisors plan and coordinate meetings with municipal community police, municipal government entities, and mayors; teachers; and community, religious and ethnic leaders; community groups and government leaders in order to conduct effective gang and violence prevention programs.

Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding

ATSG supports the USG mission in enhancing the capacity of qualified nations to participate in internationally mandated peace support operations (PSO) and contingency operations in both their country and internationally. We have assisted U.S. Embassy country teams and national representatives to help define and coordinate training and equipment requirements in designated partner nations.

Aviation

ATSG assists the USG in implementing aviation programs in host countries by providing subject matter expertise on aviation safety and other related topics. Our program oversight includes advising on training requirements, including completion of Leahy vetting; verifying parts requested by the host country Government in support of nationalized helicopters are appropriate; providing detailed management of agency funding; and checking that purchases for logistics are vetted and requirements verified.

Prosecution

ATSG implements selected strategies and guidelines that contribute to improve the management of performance and effectiveness of selected prosecution offices. Our personnel are experienced in developing and supervising training processes around Criminal Policy, Human Rights and Criminal Sciences. Civic Justice.
